CAA Reunion Intro Letter

2016 Golf Tournament

This year's tournament will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Hog Neck Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 1300 hrs.  Our 2016 golf chairman is Bryan Jennings.

The golf outing fee will be $85 and will include the following: greens fee, cart, range balls, dinner, trophies, raffles, giveaway items, and more.  Beer and other soothing cold refreshing beverages will be provided by donors.

Golf will be played using Chief's Choice Format. If you have not yet played golf with us, try to get out this year - you will have a blast!  NOTE: If you want to be paired with a friend, or if you have a foursome set, great - but please let us know by filling out a team registration form.  Otherwise all single golfers will be assigned to random foursomes.  I do not know who your friends, shipmates, or classmates are.  Husbands/wives and father/son golfers will be paired together unless otherwise directed.

Golf hole sponsorships are $100. Sponsor signs will be posted on the tee box areas, and will also be prominently displayed at Saturday's reunion party.  Thank you for your support.  Please be generous!

Golf Beer Sponsors - $25 per case.  Beer will be free on the course.  You may not bring your own.

Golf registration ends on June 14, 2016.


2016 Reunion Celebration

It's reunion time again!  I would like to invite you to attend the CAA Alumni Reunion this summer. The event will be held at the CMES facility in Easton, MD on June 24, 25 & 26, 2016.


Room check-in at the school will be after 1600 hrs.  We will try to accommodate early check-in for the golfers - however, you must remember that this is a school day and some of the rooms are still occupied.  (NO rooms are available on Thursday or Sunday nights.)  Party at the school's famous "no name pub" and hang with friends, classmates and shipmates.  There will be pizza and subs after 8 PM.  You are on your own before that.


Hope you didn't party too hard last night...  The Main Event will be held on the lawn of the Manor House.  Find a nice spot overlooking the Miles River and begin to enjoy a great time with family and friends.  The day starts off with breakfast, then on to softball, crabs, grill, beer and wine, water and soft drinks, roast pig, pit beef, entertainment, horseshoes, kids' activities, toy wagon, swimming, fire trucks, raffles, 50/50, live music, pizza, and subs. But the highlight of the day is having a great time with friends, from the past and present, with whom we have circled the globe.


This is clean-up day.  Enjoy a breakfast, pack up, and adios my friends!


  • Please do not bring any fireworks to the party.
  • Please do not bring pets to the party.
  • Book early, as rooms are on a first come, first served basis.
  • Boaters welcome (limited slips available)
  • RVs welcome (some electrical hookups available)
  • Please keep in mind that the CAA rents this property from MEBA Plans - please treat our property kindly.
  • Wristbands (over 21) must be worn to be served alcohol - NO EXCEPTIONS.


This year's party has a new fee schedule.

  • Adults (18 & over) - $85
  • Kids (6 - 17) - $25
  • Room fee - $25
  • Dues remain at $20.  Back dues are not being collected anymore, but you must pay current dues to attend.  Lifetime members do not have to pay any dues, but they must pay all other party fees.


I will need volunteers to help with the following throughout the event:

  • monitor beer trucks
  • raffle table
  • sales item table

Please sign up for 1 hour intervals, beginning at 1000 hrs through 0100 hrs.
